Benchmark AI Pick (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates https://benchmarkaipick.com (the “Site”), which covers head-to-head benchmarks of AI tools — writing assistants, coding copilots, image generators, voice tools, AI agents, and AI productivity software. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using the Site you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information we collect

We collect two categories of information:

Information you give us directly:
– Email address, if you subscribe to the AI Tools Tested newsletter or contact us
– Any content you submit through comments, forms, or feedback channels
– Optional profile information you provide

Information collected automatically:
– Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring page, pages visited, timestamps)
– Cookies and similar technologies, including analytics cookies (see our Cookie Policy)
– Aggregated, anonymized usage data via Google Analytics 4

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

3. How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Deliver the AI Tools Tested newsletter and respond to your messages
  • Improve content, navigation, and editorial decisions based on aggregated traffic data
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share email addresses with third parties for their marketing.

  • Affiliate networks — when you click affiliate links, the destination network sets its own cookies; we receive only aggregated commission data, not your personal identity

6. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)

7. Data retention

  • Email subscriber data: retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days
  • Analytics data: aggregated and retained per Google Analytics defaults (14 months for granular data)
  • Server logs: 90 days
  • Comments: retained while published; removed on request

8. International data transfers

We are based outside the EU/EEA. If you are in the EU/EEA, your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection standards. We rely on standard contractual clauses and the privacy frameworks of our processors (Google, Beehiiv, Cloudflare).

9. Security

We use HTTPS site-wide, encrypted database connections, and rotate access credentials. No system is perfectly secure — if you suspect a breach, contact us immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced via the newsletter and a banner on the Site.
